Homecoming hasn't happened yet but I have been involved with many things for it so far. I am in Key Club at my school and as a club we are in charge of the Homecoming dance. This is fun but kind-of stressful too. We get to decorate, find the DJ, get the posters and tickets made, contact lifetouch for photos, and sell the tickets during lunch. The great thing is that we get free tickets!! :) So the past couple of weeks I have been doing all of that kind-of stuff.
Another Homecoming related thing I have I have been involved in is that I am one of the Homecoming Candidates! I am the cadidate for Key Club. As candidate I have been doing lunch activities such as Obstacle Courses, Karoke, finding gummi worms in flour, trying to pour pixie sticks into a cup holding it by your nose and also getting pixie stick poured all over yourself, and a Hairy leg contest. Yesterday was the Homecoming Candidate Assembly where we all got dressed up and walked down the aisles and stood on the stage as they read bios about us, we also did a candidate dance during the assembly where we danced to a song called Rockstar. I believe. Later at 6:00pm I came to the school for Burning of the H. Where the candidates get to ride around the track in cool cars as they announce our names. I rode in an awesome yellow truck that is my friend Daniel's! It was sick!! After we rode around the track they had the cheer leaders do a bunch of pep rally type cheers, pep band performed, Men's Drill performed which was awesome this year!! I love this so much!!, a bunch of people did Camp Dance, there was a skit, a candle light cermony which is one of my favorite things, and fireworks and Burning of the H!! It was an all around great night with friends just hanging out and seeing what an awesome school Hillcrest is!!
Voting for Homecoming Royalty is Friday!
The Homecoming dance is Saturday and I can't wait!!
On Sunday I am going to Owl City which is going to be way awesome too!! :)
Ta ta for now
