Riding on someone's shoulders when you were a kid 
You feel so tall for once and you feel like you are on top of the world.

Riding your bike really late at night when the streets are completely empty
You feel free, the wind is in your hair and you feel like you own the road.

30 Day Challenge

I decided to do this random 30 Day Challenge thing just for the fun of it and for something else to post on my blog besides the little awesome things in life. So here goes day one:

The weekend is almost here and you can't wait to relax a little and have some fun. :)

When You Don't Have To Talk

Long comfortable silences between really close friends 
It isn't awkward you can just be with each other and you don't have to talk. Just enjoy each other being there in the moment.

A Moment of Silence

The moment after the show ends and before the applause begins. 
Theres a quick moment of silence in between when the show ends and people start clapping. Its a moment of anticipation, the moment where people take in what they just saw. Its an awesome moment because it is one of the few moments where people pause and take a breath.

The Ahha Moment

When it suddenly just clicks 
Your getting frustrated, scratching your head in confusion when suddenly you know exactly what to do and your like YES! I got this! :)

Some Little Things Just Make Things Better

Number Twenty-Three
Cutting your sandwich into triangles. 
Something about this just makes eating your sandwich so much more awesome than it was before and more enjoyable to eat. haha :) It takes me back to childhood. :)

Number Twenty-Two

When that zit growing on your forehead suddenly just disappears 
This is awesome because no one ever wants a zit and then suddenly its just gone and its like it was never there!

Making New Friends is Fun Too

The first text message between new friends 
You meet someone new and exchange numbers with them and the first few text messages you have are so fun and exciting as the friendship continues to grow. :)

Friends Are The Best

The party save (when a friend saves you from a bad party conversation) 
The person you are talking to is droning on and on about a subject that you would rather not hear about and you are wondering how you can escape from it when suddenly your friend appears and steals you away because they "desperately need you." This is an awesome escape.

It's a smile, it's a kiss It's a sip of wine, it's summertime Sweet summertime

Awesome Number Nineteen
Driving around with the windows down on late summer nights 
This is amazing, you're driving around can feel the warm summer breeze coming in the car and you feel free. :)

When someone saves you a seat 
This is awesome because then you don't have to go searching for a seat next to somebody random.

Do Nothing Days 
When you have the whole day to just relax and do nothing maybe even stay in your PJs the whole day. :)

Two In One

I am sorry. I totally forgot to blog yesterday so to make up for it I will give you what was supposed to be yesterdays post and todays post.
So number fifteen is:
Licking All the Flavor off  your fingers 
This is awesome especially after making cookies or something with dough and you get to lick it all off. :)

Number Sixteen is: 

When your shoes are tight enough to stay on your foot but loose enough to slide on and off without untying them 

This is awesome because then you don't have to tie your shoes! :) 

Sports can be cool

Number Fourteen:
Watching soccer and actually seeing a goal
This is awesome because the majority of a soccer game is just the players kicking the ball around in the center or near the goals and trying to make a goal but not actually doing so.

Singing Sweet Memories of Us

Lucky Number 13
Hearing a song that reminds you of someone you love. 
This is awesome because not only does it remind you of the person you love but all the wonderful memories you have with the person as well. :)

Popsicles are yummy!

Number 12 most awesome thing is:
Biting off the last piece of the popsicle without losing any of it. 
Usually when your eating a popsicle the last piece slips off the stick just as you are about it eat it and then you lose out on the rest of your popsicle! This is sad. But when you actually get the whole popsicle it is awesome! :)

Sharing is Awesome

It's 1-11-11! And todays awesome thing is:
When someone who doesn't like pizza crust gives you their pizza crust. 
For some pizza this is the best part of the pizza and when someone shares it with you its just awesome. haha :)

You're Finally Done

The Big Ten:
Finishing your last exam. 
This is so awesome because then you're done and you can feel the weight lifting from your shoulders.

This is awesome because you finally get a picture that you feel you look good in which is a rare, at least for me. haha :)

I have yet to experience this awesome thing but I can imagine it to be something great.

Awesome Number Seven:
Using Milk Instead of Water In Hot Chocolate 
This makes the hot chocolate so much better! Its creamy and brings so much more flavor to the hot chocolate! :)

Familiar Places

Awesome Number Six:
When Characters in movies visit a place you know. 
You are watching the movie and suddenly you recognize where the characters are and you can say that you have been there too. This happens many times as I live in Utah where they film many movies because it is a cheap place to do so and Utah looks a lot like many other places.
Here are a few movies that have been filmed in Utah:

Awesome thing of the day number five:
When you get in the car and you notice someone filled up the tank. 
This is way awesome cause your thinking that your going to have to buy gas when suddenly its full again and you don't have to spend the money on gas! :)

Number Four

Awesome thing for January Fourth Two-thousand Eleven
Somehow waking up at the right time even though you forget to set your alarm clock.
This is so totally awesome, this happened to me once its like your brain becomes your alarm clock and somehow you just wake up! :)

Accents

~Awesome number three:
Horrible fake accents made by close friends 
I have done this many times, one time at school we had talk in a fake british accent day. While some of us had terrible accents it was fun to talk differently for a day.

Staying up so late that everything becomes funny

You become so tired that you laugh at everything even if its not that funny. Laughter is the best medicine!

Awesome Things for 2011

Everyday starting today I am going to post an awesome thing, to remind us all of the little things in life that can bring us joy.

Todays awesome thing and first on the list is:

Walking into a crowded party and locking eyes with someone you know across the room. 

You walk into a party where you don't know many people but once you see someone else you know and lock

eyes with them you know you will have a good time. 

2011 Is Here!

Happy 2011! I hope this year will be as good as last year! Looking forward to new opportunities, making new and long lasting relationships, and keeping up with the old ones. I can't wait for the new memories to be made! :)
