Brad Paisley's H20 Tour was this past weekend @ the USANA Amphitheater, it was amazing! Brad Paisley is a great entertainer, singer and guitar player. Plus Darrius Rucker was there along with Jason Moore, Josh Thompson, Steel Magnolia, and Easton Corbin. I got to meet Josh Thompson, Steel Magnolia, and Easton Corbin, it was unbelievable! I was so nervous when I met them that I got really shy around them. They were all amazing singers and I can't believe I was so lucky to be there! Here are a few pictures from the event.

Dance=Love
"The body says what words cannot." ~Martha Graham
I can express so many things through dance that I can't through words. Tonight I was reminded of this when I went back to dance again for the year!!

Day of Birth!
It's my birthday today wahoo!! I also share this amazing day of birth with my twin brother Brad, who is the best brother ever! Happy Birthday! I also share it with my wonderful friend Emilee, who is the cutest girl ever! Happy Birthday! We are all 19 now! Which is crazy cause I personally don't feel 19! Tonight I am going to party it up at the Pie Pizza with some of my awesome Westminster friends! Last night was the family party, so I went home for a nice dinner and some cake and presents! It was good. :) I also got my ears pierced again, so I have two piercings in each lobe! Excitement!!
Brad, Emilee, and I! :)
P.S. Roommate situation is much better and I am loving Westminster! :)

So much more than what I thought
I have been living at Westminster for almost a week now and things are very interesting. Some things are better than others. Orientation week was fun and I meet lots of new people and about 5 of them I think are my new group of friends that I will be spending a lot of time with at Westminster. My classes so far are good and I think I will really like all my professors and learn a lot from them and a lot from my other peers in my classes.
Some not so good things are where I am living. My roommate is a nice girl and I know she tried super hard to get here but she does things that I would never in a million years do. Like get high and drink a ton and so forth. I want to change roommates but you have to go through this whole process to do it and my roommate would probably get super mad at me. I also wish I was in a different dorm building. I have friends in Hogel and it is such a better dorm with more friendly people. I guess I will just have to see how things play out from here. Maybe I will change at the semester.
One cool thing I did today was in my English class we wrote poem type of things here is mine although I didn't quite finish:
I am from apple trees from swing sets and sandboxes.
I am from the small town of a bigger city.
I am from the bunk beds that my sister and I slept in, where we would listen to books on tape and talk till we fell asleep.
I am from a house that is on an wide open park with many different trails.
I am from adventures and hikes up and down the mountains, with games and skiing and many stories that I can still remember.
I 'm from school yards and making long lasting friendships. From hard work and making new connections.
Thats what I have so far and I just wrote it as things came to mind.
Sorry for the rant, I just had to get a lot of that off my chest.
Gotta keep pushing through.

Tangerine Sky
I looked out the window and what did I see... a sky the color of a tangerine! So of course I had to take pictures, here are some that captivate the craziness that was the sky a couple evenings ago.

And then a few minutes later it looked like a normal sunset. It was quite the beautiful show that nature put on for everyone to see! :)

One Point Away...
So close but so far. Sometimes you can be so close to achieving something or seeing something but there is an obstacle holding you back. You are there you can see the finish line of your goal but there is a hurdle standing in your way. Only when we can find away to make it around that obstacle is when we can finally reach that goal. If we work hard enough and believe that we can make it than we can. Once that goal is finally ours it feels amazing.
To change the subject, I had a fabulous fourth of July weekend! Happy Birthday America! I drove around with friends and flew an American flag out the car window. I saw the finale of the Sandy City fireworks. Went to a fireworks stand and saw Big Buddha from Fox 13. Then we lit off those fireworks at my friends house. Then on actual fourth of July my madre had a little party with a bunch of our friends that was quite enjoyable. Lots of badminton and lots of good food. :)
Now I just got to make it over this hurdle.
