Magnificent Michigan

So far I have been in Traverse City Michigan for a week now and it has been wonderful! I still have a week left here and probably many more adventures but I thought I would share a few that have happened so far.

1st we have a motor boat and a pontoon boat and have been out on them many a time. On the motor boat we have been tubbing, water skiing, and wake boarding. I love just taking crusies on the boat too and have enjoyed laying out on the boat and getting a little sun! :)

2nd we went to Mackinac Island which I have been wanting to go to for years. It is such a beautiful island and to get to the island you have to take a ferry which is pretty cool too. There are no cars on the island except for an ambulance and probably some police cars. There are some quaint little shops and many places to eat too. There are places to rent bikes, ride horses, and have carriage rides. Most of us rentecd bikes and road around the island overlooking the water. Two of my cousins and my aunt rode horses all around the island. The island is very busy with many people visting but is aslo very Beautiful!

3rd We have gone shopping to many of the same places we always shop at but it is still fun to go. Leland, Front Street, and Glen Arbor. Later this afternoon I think we are headed to Suttons Bay! Art Festival Time!!

Those are just a few of the many adventures had and to come!

Camping is draining but fun

This whole weekend I spent camping, boy was it fun but at the same time very draining! I did many fun things like hike, fish, drive a boat, drive an ATV, and cook smores! But it was also very very hot and I got a little sun burnt! When I finally came home I was very tired! Here are a few pictures of the weekend!

School is out for summer!!

Yes I am officially done with school! It is such a refreshing, free feeling! Summer time always makes me feel so free and there are so many adventures to take on during the summer.
Yesterday at the end of the school day we had our traditions assembly. It was so great with all of the different performing arts performing such as Dance Company, Drill (including men's drill, which just makes me laugh every single time!), VE, Productions, Cheer, and much more! Some of my friends even performed this years theme song for our school which was awesome! You guys rock, Andrew, Jason, and Takami! At the end of the assembly the SBO's have a candle light sort of thing and talk about their favorite memories of the school year which is always nice. We can't forget Sammy and Sally Sophomore! During this assembly they continue the Sally and Sammy Sophomore video from the beginning of the year! It is the funniest video about two sophomores who are going through school and they end up liking each other and stuff like that. It is a tradition at Hillcrest for the SBO's to make the video and very year it is just so hilarious!
I came back to the school at around 6:00 yesterday for the Year book stomp! The year book stomp is always kind-of crazy because it is out by our baseball field and everyone is out there running around trying to get all these people to sign there year books. It kinda gets overwhelming because it gets hard to find everybody you want to sign your year book. But in all it is great! I love getting my year book and having it filled with little notes and then looking at it all later and just laughing at what some people wrote.
After the stomp I went to my friend Whitney's house and we watched the uninvited which was actually a really weird scary movie. It has a twist near the end that completely throws you off.
Well that is all for now.
I will surely update you on my summer happenings!
Love you

An Adventure with da Baum and Annicka!

So today is the last day of school and really you don't have to go to classes because all the teachers are sick of everybody and everything. So today after Whitney (da Baum) and I had English we pondered of what we could possibly do because our psych teacher told us to not bother coming to class. So we pondered and pondered and decided to go to this one park across the street from our school. We originally had planned going to this park but my brother last night told me that it was a stoner park where all these kids sluff and get high and stuff like that. I told Whitney about this and she wasn't sure if we should still go but we talked to our other friend Annicka about it and she thought we should still go for an adventure.
On our way there we were talking about the stoner kids and Annicka told us how they go behind this white building in the park. I was confused for a second because I never remembered a white building being there. We got to the park and suddenly there was the white building! We went to some bleachers to sit and talk for while. After a little talking and randomly dancing to Annicka's i-pod we decided to go check out the white building.
We walked over there and kinda got scared because this building is pretty sketchy. It is a white building with blue trim and the windows have this yellowy cloth in them. We checked out the back to make sure there were no stoners behind there and then continued walking back to where we were sitting. Instead of walking all the way back though we decided to walk around the white building and walk back to school a different way. When we approached the other side of the building we noticed a weird emblum thingy and saw that is said Lions International. We wondered what the heck Lions International was but continued our walk back to school.
On our walk back we heard a bunch of crickets and Annicka named it cricket central because there were so many. We made it back to school in all in one piece and then I went to math for a little bit with Whitney and she and our friend Amanda ended up doing my makeup!
In all it has been quite the adventure filled day, and I can't wait for the traditions assembly still to come and to go to the Yearbook stomp! Yay!
Okay that is all for now because I probably have talked for way too long!
Love you
